Agreed, Canada already proves that.
Though admittedly we currently do need to open a few new hospitals, it get's crowded at times.

Once a civilization reaches certain thresholds there are certain luxuries (food, water, shelter etc.) that become rights.
And a country simply going "Your health care is a luxury" when it's already been proven that government health care is more beneficial for everyone as a whole, including the nation are quite simply admitting to be not as advanced as their neighbours because they'd rather have a couple extra dollars in their pocket (which will go away anyways once their medical issues pop up).
