Akio drew his starting cards, and immediately grimaced. [i]Oh, great. No Iron Core or Urnight. At least, I can mount a defense with Speeder... luckily I have Powerhand to keep it on the field. Let's keep Reckoned Power in my hand for now... just in case I need to break out Powerhand. As for Iron Core Armor and Nega-ton Corepanel, well... I just hope they'll be useful later on...[/i]

"I set a monster and a card in my Spell/Trap zone face-down, and end my turn."

[u]Turn 2: Akio / 8000 : [b]Michelle / 8000[/b][/u]

Michelle drew her next card and added it to her hand. Not too bad a hand, but not the most ideal. [i]Hmm... what to do...[/i]

"I discard ''Zeradias, Herald of Heaven' to add the Field Spell Card 'Sanctuary in the Sky' to my hand," Michelle announced as the card popped out of her Deck for her to withdraw and place it in her hand. "Now I play the Spell Card: 'Heaven's Reinforcements'! By banishing one Fairy-type monster from my graveyard, I can add one Fairy-type monster to my hand!" She removed 'Zeradias', and another card ejected itself from her deck, which she revealed to be 'Splendid Venus', then placed it in her hand. 

"I now play the Field Spell: 'Sanctuary in the Sky'!" Michelle said as the ground beneath them transformed into clouds, with a large white building behind Michelle. "I set a monster face-down, and set three other cards in my Spell/Trap zone. Turn End."

[u]Turn 3: [b]Akio / 8000[/b] : Michelle / 8000[/u]

Akio drew his card for the turn, and was relieved to see that it was 'Boulder'. He said: "Well, I set another face-down monster and end my turn. Go on."

[u]Turn 4: Akio / 8000 : [b]Michelle / 8000[/b][/u]

Michelle drew her next card, and examined it. [i]'Trade-In'. Should I...[/i]

"I play the Spell Card: 'Trade-In'!" Michelle said. "By discarding a Level 8 monster, I can draw 2 cards!" She discarded 'Venus' and then drew her next two cards. "I then set one card in my Spell/Trap zone, and end my turn."

[u]Turn 5: [b]Akio / 8000[/b] : Michelle / 8000[/u]

The audience was obviously bored. Someone even yelled: "Well, when do you start fighting?". Akio had made a point to not let the whims of those chimps in the audience influence his strategy, though. Besides, he didn't have much else he could do, except that hope to draw a card he could use. So, ignoring the booing, he drew another card. It was 'Crusader'. [i]Not all that useful right now, but still a good thing to have him around[/i], he thought.

Sadly, this meant that the screaming idiots would have to wait a bit more before seeing any battle, as he just said: "I end my turn here".

[u]Turn 6: Akio / 8000 : [b]Michelle / 8000[/b][/u]

Michelle drew her next card, making a face at the booing audience. She was now capable of summoning a monster, and one with high attack too, but doing so would conflict with what she had planned. She looked at her face-down cards, then back at her hand. After a few seconds, she stated, "I end my turn." This caused the audience to "boo" and jeer more fiercely, but Michelle tried to pay it no mind. Freya yelled at the audience, "[i]We don't see you down here trying to Duel![/i]"[/hider]
