Coming out from the shadows, Alex sat back at his desk. He had enough sitting and waiting. 
"[b]Where is the professor?[/b]" he finally asked out loud. He was becoming impatient, and was about to leave. After all, if the professor doesn't show up in the first 15 minutes of class, students have the right to leave.
