Alex turned the volume on his headphones down when he noticed a boy walk by. He was expecting conversation, but was left empty. 
'[i]Oh well,[/i] he thought to himself. '[i]I didn't wanna talk anyway.[/i]'
He slowly got up, and walked around for a bit, noticing certain things he hadn't before.
