Fi wasn't sure how long she had been asleep when a familiar presence reached her senses. Somebody was entering the temple. She woke herself from her slumber, taking a moment to see how much time had passed. Only a couple of hours it seemed. Maybe the Goddesses were still listening. As the figure approached the anti-chamber, Fi let out a soft gasp. The Goddesses most definitely still cared. It was a Link. She watched, almost not believing what she was seeing, as this new Link approached the pedestal where she was sealed. He knelt down as if he was praying. That was a new one. Most Links unsheathed her first, then talked to the Goddesses. Perhaps he wasn't here with some sort of goal? Regardless, Fi conjured up her true form, floating weightlessly next to her sword form. If she had a heart, it would have been pounding with excitement. Finally, after so long, human contact. And it was the person she wanted to see most. "Don't be alarmed, master Link. I am Fi, spirit of the sword of evil's bane. You may know it as the Master Sword." She said, beginning her speech. She paused for a moment to let this Link register what was going on. From her experience's each Link took her reveal in a different way. That was her favorite thing about all the Links she had met. Each one looked a little bit different, acted a little bit different, from the one before. Though each was the hero chosen by the Goddesses, they were each their own person. And Fi enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them. And yet, even after the bond the hero created with the spirit of the sword, they still always put her back at the end. She was just a guide, a helpful companion to use and then get rid of when she was no longer useful.
