She blinked a few times before looking down at the burger she had already taken a huge bite out of and swallowed hard. "Oh-- I guess you're right." She shrugged her shoulder guiltily. "Sorry, it's the only thing I can afford right now. There are far better restaurants, or-- we could even get groceries and cook if that's better." She looked down at his burger and raised her shoulders again. "But I think you should at least try it." She smiled reassuringly, but wondered if their anatomy was different and what was okay to her was horrible to him but it was the slightest gamble. "This place is called Wendy's. It's a fast food place that you will see.. everywhere you go.." She laughed sarcastically. "Oh and coffee shops are on every corner as well except it's a lot more complicated than just coff--" She shook her head, this conversation was just too natural for someone who just flew out of a hair pin."

"Wait--. If I can ask.. What do you remember about.. him?" She leaned in like it was a secret but moved the corner of her lip over the straw to sip on her milkshake. Maybe it would be easier to figure things out if she got a background check on what exactly they were dealing with. "And.. I think I've mentioned this before but..
