Caador's begins trace back seven hundred years ago, when pilgrims and missionaries venturing from a far off land in the West had settled the Eastern Grasslands. Bringing Civilization to these savage lands, as native Hillmen and Ogre Tribes warred with one another for who knows how long. The Western Settlers established themselves in the Grasslands, building Walled Settlements and begun to spread, they proclaimed their new home as Caador, leading to the tribes to direct their attention to their new enemy. For nearly a hundred years, the tribes and settlers fought, the Caadori however, slowly dominated the tribe lands, sending their armored armies against the more primitive natives, when most of the grasslands were conquered, the Caadori, with great arrogance, continued their great campaign, leading to the beginnings of the Caadori Empire. 

For Five hundred years Caador reigned over the North and East, stretching as far as the Eastern Coast, to the Northern and Southern Mountains, it was a Golden Age for the Empire, then came the Cataclysm. The Arrival of the Darkness ushered in dark times for the Empire, hordes of horrific creatures crossing the borders and rampaging though the countryside. Elsewhere, further east, Provinces near the shores and mountains were in amidst of Rebellion, growing more dissatisfied with the Ruling Powers, many seeing an opportunity to break away from Caador.

The threat of Civil War in one corner of the Empire and the Scourges at the borders, forced the ruling Emperor to make a dire, but necessary decision. All Legions had abandoned the Rebel Provinces, and were ordered to the frontlines. The Empire shrunk to what it is today, as a strategic decision that proved to saved what's left of Caador, for now.
