Vordak be careful, this post is very much modding your opponents attack. You can suggest that the blade should not make it through the rock, but you cannot definitely say that it didn’t make it through the rock. However, perhaps unbeknowst to Sol, his sword wouldn't cut through the boulder in just one stroke. Adding sawblades, no matter how miniature, was a foolish decision: both creating great amounts of friction and jerking the blade around, they would rapidly dissapate all of the blade's kinetic energy and bring it to a screeching halt, leaving his weapon stuck. This could be a good opportunity to strike, but Ido had nowhere to hurry - the chances he would actualy hit Sol were too low to bother. Instead, he concentrated on increasing his supplies of Kzich, gathering all of it into one large sphere again. It could be written this way : Sol’s attack of the rock was incredible, the sheer force of blade striking the rock created a horrible wail as the metal bit deep. Ido was curious, as the size and density of the rock should make a bisecting attack nearly impossible, however if the human was able to do so, because of the effort required to cut through the rock, Ido might have a chance to attack while the blade and human wielding it were in an awkward position.
