Do you need pictures or can I just type out a description for my character's appearance?
I generally prefer pictures but if you'd rather just type it, I have no problems with that :)
Yeah, good question. And, how is the " We will each be telling our own individual stories whilst also interweaving them with the stories of the other characters. " bit supposed to work out?
Think of it like this. The hero stuff is just a backdrop, this rp is more a character study. So the idea behind it is that we use our characters, the events and people in their lives to build our own little universe and I personally don't think you can do that if we all just smash, crash, blow shit up and repeat. It's like a comic, the Avengers aren't always the Avengers or the Justice League aren't always the Justice League, they all have their own stories outside the main one. Of course I want lots character interaction so the idea being that we combine stories without making it the main one. Or for an even simple explanation, they all live in the same area but not everyone will be involved in the same storyline. Some might go one way, others might be doing another thing but its all connected.
I don't get why characters absolutely have to be 20 year olds or why we absolutely need to use real life pictures for comic book characters. Interested otherwise.
If you look further up the thread, this question was answered. 20's was just an average age I plucked out of the air because the setting is in and around a University. A character doesn't have to be that age. As for pictures, again I prefer pictures because it sometimes helps your minds eye picture a situation but if you would prefer to just write a description then by all means do so.
