" Think, Michiko, think. This is not so different from integral calculus." But the truth was that it was a completely different situation from when he was solving even the most complicated problems. His body was still stiff, though he anticipated that it will disappear as he spent more time in DgtWld. He got used to the headache, he tended to have them rather often. The one thing that pleased him that his grip on his blade was still as strong as he ever remembered it. So as soon as the Correctors started to exchange blows with the notoriously infamous duo in front of them, he went to join the fray. He focused on Fury and easily dodged his initial attack by ducking, and in turn, he got his upward slash easily deflected by him - Michiko used his second hand in an attempt to punch him and made his blade lighter for an easier follow up to his attack. Or, he wanted to make his blade lighter - but his Sword Engine was not responding to his command. He tried again, but it was too late - he was hit square in the chest by a kick from Fury, sending him flying backwards a solid distance, doing several rolls as he landed. His headache was now tearing his head apart, and he did his best to shut it off as he lied on his back. After a few seconds and several curses inside of his mind, he succeeded. He turned his head to his right hand and looked at the Sword Engine. Whatever was wrong with it, now was the worse time for it to happen. But he had to think about it later - now, dealing with the twins was their top priority, and judging from the look at the group, nobody was faring much better. They were having the upper hand, and they were not afraid to show it. Grunting and stumbling as he stood up, he looked at the scene that was unfolding in front of him. He would not allow himself to fail, as he never did in the past. Looking at his friends, he felt a strange feeling in his chest. Little did Michiko realize it was out of desire to protect his friend, for in that very moment, he was running back, joining the fray with his friends. He felt his body being reinvigorated, he felt just as good as he felt when he was doing his regular Corrector job for the Japanese Gvn. Immediately as he was back in the fray, he exchanged another series of blows with Fury, and to his surprise, he was now able to fight him on even terms. More or less - he still had to dodge several attacks, but he had far less trouble in parrying them. Then, after dodging another attack, he spotted Fury making an attack that was parried, and he saw the perfect opening. It might be foolish from him to do this, but a quick side roll got him behind the exposed back, and he started to run towards it. He looked at his Sword Engine again and smiled - he felt a familiar feeling in his right hand. Leaping up in the air, he raised the blade above his head and modified it - this time, with success. Now, the bladeĀ“s weight was greatly increased and physics took over. His blade was bearing down on the back of Fury. He will either score a hit or create an opportunity for another hit to be attempted. All the time, Michiko was smiling, because at least for now, this small window of time, he felt something he did not feel in the past few days. Fox was back.
