Anya's eyes widened as her papa said the bad word. She knew that adults could say it and not children, but she always wondered why. What did it mean? Did it mean [i]anything[/i]? Maybe it was some sort of magic adult-only word that grown ups said when something bad happened to make them feel better, and it didn't have any actual definition. One thing was for sure, though. It sounded really funny and Anya wanted to say it. But first, she had to help her papa. "I think most books smell the same, papa," said Anya, "But I could help look.
