Amidst the uproar of the crowd in reaction to the masters announcement Ben did silent. Trapped within his own racing mind he barely heard the initiation of his new guild mates and almost missed the pending retirement of his guild master. Instead Ben had focused his attention on the new magical presence he had sensed somewhere just outside the guild hall. This feeling is something I remember from my past. Somehow I just know this presence, I've felt it before. Ben thought to himself, and was so wrapped up in that thought he couldn't shake it until Sanguine said his name. Aware that now things had calmed down a bit he could refocus on the current task. "I'm not just going to let Reaper run headlong into Haven without backup. And I'm certain even you understand strength in numbers Master." Pollux nodded to Sanguine then turned to the boy, a slight grin escaped his lips, although petulant and often over confident he admired Ben's commitment to the guild and his friends. This drive and determination should not go unnoticed. "Calm down boy, you need to ease your mind, your so hot headed. One must learn to control his emotions, because like magic itself if you cannot control it, it shall control you. Now please, do this old man a favor and take Sanguine to Haven, even though she is strong I fear Reaper may have her hands fu..." The doors to the guild hall were suddenly thrown open and standing in the doorway was a rather frail looking female frame eclipsing the light. Folding up her parasol and resting it under her arm, the strange woman walked toward Master Pollux. Removing her gloves and fixing her long black dress as she passed, Ben spotted a faded reddish fairy tail guild mark on her neck. She was tall, for a woman and thin, her black dress was a stark contrast to her china-white skin and it hung pleasently on her elderly body. So This is who I felt, her power is intense..and all of that magic energy comes from her? Ben thought to himself. Before he could delve further into his inner monologue, the mysterious old woman spoke. "Pollux Vermilion, it had indeed been a long time, how are you old friend?" There was a strange familiar sound her voice that seemed to mask anger, the guild hall went silent as the members all tried to figure out who this woman was.
