Yes Chi was an accident. what happened was she was given up for adoption but her father Ryouk Yumi secretly took care of her. until the age of 17 were Chi's mom Ayaka. found out about her existence Ayaka quickly got a divorce and gotten rid of Chi. so Chi was homeless for a few weeks. she was forced to fend for herself until the ninja school found her and let her join there School. so not having anything else to do she joined
