An open blue sky sitting atop a featureless desert filled the girl's view. She felt the clean wild wind blow through her hair as she flew freely through the sky. It was as if a dream come true. She felt something heavy on her legs and saw that strange pods with propellers and small wings were on her legs. She shrugged, oddly thinking nothing of it as she continued to fly threw the sky. Suddenly a beam of red flashed in front of her. Alicia sat up slowly in bed, giving a big yawn and rubbing her eyes. "uuuugghhh..... I haaate mornings........" she said aloud as she flopped back into her hotel room bed. For a brief moment, she was confused why she had woken up in a hotel room, but soon the memories of yesterday flooded back into her consciousness. The bet, the outfit, the convention, the huge embarresment of freaks and geeks drooling over her and constantly asking to take her picture. However she couldn't help but smile a bit. "I did have some fun with Caroline....speaking of which..." she rolled over in her bed to find she was the only one in the room. On the bedside table sat a folded piece of paper. Reaching over, she grabbed it and read. "Dear Alicia-san," "Fucking weeboo" "I met this really cute boy at dinner in the hotel! I know you were all tired out from the walking, so I'm leaving with him and some of our friends to go spend the night. I'll call you once I go home tomorrow. See ya at the apartment my cute fluffy Kitsune!" "Huh, well good for her then... .hope the guy wasn't a rapist or somethin...." Alicia thought to herself as she folded the note back up and slowly pulled herself out of bed. It was odd, everything seemed louder and crisper, and her head hurt. Alicia simply shrugged and walked into the bathroom to the sink. Splashing water on her face, she looked up at the mirror. Odd... the cosplay fox ears she wore yesterday were still on her head. Shrugging, she grabbed an hear and attempted to lift- "Huh....?" Alica gave another tug, this time it hurt. She quickly leaned in and parted her hair.... her eyes widened with shock. Not only had any evidence of her even dying her hair brown seemed to have dissappeared, but the fox hears were seemingly directly attached to her hair. Now that she was wide away, she felt something swishing behind her, turnign slowly, she saw a slightly moving fox tail sticking out of her pants. Looked again at the fox ears, now twitching them and moving them. "...........well then.......ooookayy......keep it together, keep it together...... think funny thoughts, think happy thoughts..." Alicia said aloud, attempting to calm herself down. She looked again in the mirror, suddenly smiling, then laughing. "Man.... if Caroline was here..... she would probably be as jealous as hell..... he he.... Alright! Time to solve this problem...." she walked out of the bathroom to her duffle bag, hoping to find her hat to cover the ears at least. Instead, she found all of her clothes had disappeared. At this point, it wasn't even surprising. Though laying near the bed was her cosplay outfit.... "hmmm.... that could actually work! Hiding in plain sight.... " she thought to herself, then began to put it on. As she did, her stomach gave a loud growl. "That's right... I haven't eaten since lunch of yesterday... Okay, I'm gonna grab some breakfast then head home as fast as possible." Grabbing what things she still had, Alica opened the room to her hotel room and walked out into the hallway. She had her now strangely heavier "fake" rifle slung on her back, and she felt lighter for some reason, perhaps even stronger.
