Aiden landed with a heavy thud against the other boy. He grunted as he got up. There was no other option here but to fight, at least long enough for the others to escape. He turned his head to the other boy and told him to go with the others. He felt like it was his duty as one of the older people left from his town to protect the others with his life. it was a role he had taken upon returning to his town.... a role he had already failed once with Sarah....

But he could never live with himself to see it happen again. Especially not after just meeting back up with his companions. "Father, if you can still hear me....," he growled under his breath as stood back up, "Give me the strength to protect those I hold dear!" 

Ander was now standing again, his fists up and ready. He had resolved to battle this monster to the end, as long as he could hold out till they escaped. He watched as Dreknor threw the cub away to the side. "[b]This ends NOW, [i]creature[/i]![/b]" He yelled as he charged back at the evil being.
