Malacia was seconds from snatching up the rabbit when she realized the wolf was charging directly towards her, a glowing sword in its mouth. She let out another yelp and scrambled out of the way. She put a good few feet of distance between her and the wolf to avoid another surprise attack. She glanced back at the rabbit in frustration, but froze when she saw it happen. She felt her heart almost stop as she saw the rock swords fly out and strike Anxius, one impaling him in the side. "No!" She cried out. Still keeping her distance from the wolf and the rabbit, she began running to Anxius' aid. Anxius screamed in immense pain as the rock swords struck him. He collapsed heavily on the ground. He groaned and lifted his head to examine his wounds. Most of the swords had missed and only left long scratches on his body, but one had not. The rock sword sank a few inches into his side before splitting apart half way up the blade. He gritted his teeth and reached over, grabbed the protruding sword in his jaws, and with great effort ripped it out of his wound. Instant regret and pain clouded his mind and he let out a muffled scream past the sword. He tossed the broken sword aside and began attempting to stand. He let out a whine and fell back on the ground, every small movement in his torso causing pain. He glanced back at the wound in alarm as he realized it was bleeding much faster than he had expected. He cursed to himself for his stupidity and began attempting to stand again.
