This gives him the capability to control the audio waves around him. It's strongest and easiest capability would be to merely listen to things around him. At it's maximum strength, he could listen to an entire city. He can also manipulate the audio around him in various ways. Two examples being offensive and defensive uses. Offensively, he could redirect sounds and amplify them in order to create a sound blast that could shatter eardrums and leave his enemies either dead or disabled. He could also reduce the volume of noise around him infinitely, creating a acoustic black hole of sorts.

People see him the most at the local library or tech center, reading in various dark corners. He never speaks to his fellow students, and only answers the teachers with the barest minimum needed. His history is unknown, as he has never talked about it.
