Jun, being incredibly dim-witted when it came to situations like these, simply kept on trying the doorknob, and the more she failed, the harder she slammed her body against the wooden frame.

Of course, if the crazy man came any closer, she might have to...abandon Jinta. Under her circumstances, she could only imagine what might happen to Jinta if she had left [i]him[/i] alone.

Supposing the door would refuse to give in, Jun would have to run. It's not like she had any choice, unless she were to do an about-face and tackle the man again...
