Gah, sorry for my prolonged absence, I just got back from travelling for Thanksgiving and I really should have given you guys a warning before I disappeared. I understand if this RP has progressed without me, though I must say that that'd be rather disappointing. Anyway, I'll kick myself into action and try to get my General Sheet out ASAP. I have some family coming over today, but with any luck I'll still be able to finish the sheet by tonight.I'm really sorry for my absence, it was rude of me not to inform you guys beforehand.
No problem. Nothing has progressed too far for your entry, and indeed, the Republic needs some more men.
That may have just been a lack of communication as for the bridge, my orders seemed to imply it was still being heavily overseen if not directly controlled by the township
My bad for not specifying. I meant that the Township was watching the bridge from its side of the river, and that you'd have to get past the guards/scouts/emplacements/whatever on their end before proceeding to New Dalles. Looks like everything worked out though. :D
So I might just come in with Pepper on this thing. I'm thinking about having an air corps of sorts. At this point it'd only be on paper (no planes, no Vertibirds yet assuming Vertibird guy is gone from this) and acting as a scavenge and repair force to recover oldworld tech and planes before eventually starting it up in the future after some hard work, kind of like the Boomers.
I'd see no issues with this.
I wholeheartedly support the interaction between the generals for this specific reason. We'll greater outline differences between characters like Aesir and Hathaway-- one is actually trained and experienced as a soldier and a general, maybe even knows some NCR strategy. The other is just a sneaky wastelander mutie with a following and a mostly aesthetic title.
After the Unification War winds down (the fall of Sunnyside, and destruction of the 7th Freedom Brigade), and the Township Proxy War meets its conclusion (your next mission), then everyone will be getting together with the President to decide Yakima's foreign policy on a number of issues. More domestic matters will also be brought to the players' attention, and the direction in which the YR grows will then be mostly down to them.
