Since nothing seemed to be coming from the hallway after all, Runo turned his attention back to the girl and...oh, there was another figure kind of similar next her now. But this one had fuzzy ears and a tail, like a woodland creature he had heard of. Having never seen one before, though, he was very curious about this one that seemed so similar to the human. He looked closely at it for a minute before turning back to the girl. She seemed to be speaking to him now, though he noticed that she was speaking differently than she had been a moment before. Gwen? So that's her name. It's very...human, I guess? Probably because of the language, though. The merman cocked an eyebrow at Tanikazi's comment. Well, it wasn't his common language, so maybe the furred one had a point. Still, that just made things more fun for introductions. He might enjoy this. Placing a hand on his chest, Runo looked straight at the girl and opened his mouth, releasing a string of dolphin-like clicks and whistles. He waited for a moment, hoping to see her reaction before smiling. "I think in your language, though, 'Runo' would be a close enough translation."
