Well, the dust has settled for seven hours, and so now I think is an appropriate time to bring this very valued, constructive and indeed essential discussion to its conclusion. I would like to thank Dinh AaronMk for taking the time out of his day to express his own ideas of how this RP should be going, and why it should be so. I always appreciate discussion that ultimately affects an existing system. In fact, as Dinh seems quite interested in this whole set up we have, I'd like to give him my full permission (no strings, no sarcasm or nastiness) to take everything we have here, and start his own RP so that he can shape it in a way he feels is more correct. Furthermore, I apologise for my initial reaction. It was unfair of me, and I am sorry for throwing my rattle out of the pram. Sadly, this RP has already started. No matter how logical, or illogical as the case may be, the arguments are for the Yakima Republic to be refocused on the ancestral peoples after which the county of Yakima is named, it would be impractical for things to change so drastically now. So unfortunately, I'm going to have to say that we're keeping the idea of multiple cultures living under the same flag, as opposed to a Native American-style state. I will not defend the idea we're sticking with, but I will say that at the time of me creating this RP, and after the research I put into the geography of Washington State, Yakima County seemed like a rational area to place a population. Perhaps I was wrong. If this has suddenly become a deal breaker for anyone, then I apologise for any inconvenience, and they have my full blessing should they wish to leave the RP. ---------------------------------------- Now that's out of the way, is everyone (who is still with me) ready for things to progress? I'm not going to waste my time on something that has possibly died over night, so I'll need some "Hell yes'es!" if I can :)
