With Banished I been thinking about things for a bit. Since the whole concept is that our characters are reincarnations of the slained protectors that they'll reflect a lot of their old lives. Like one example I had in mind is say someone was a powerful archer as a protector, and now while in the mortal life even if the person has never picked up a bow they'll still have an aptitude for archery. Maybe to go further the person would have traits and qualities that benefits archery, like naturally great hand-eye coordination or good kinetic sense. Physically there wouldn't any correlation with the past life, my idea is its more of a passive influence rather then acting directly. Also something else, if no one minds doing extra writing, is on the CS a character has both their protector bio and mortal bio. I feel its important to make the protector aspect of the characters a big thing, so fleshing their histories as a protector alongside the one as a mortal would be pretty neat. That said the protector part shouldn't need to be the main focus, I mean the characters themselves are going to be going out as squishy mortals not the badass protectors they used to be. Anyway that was some thinking I got out, fairly rough so maybe someone can come along and polish what I got here.
