Well seeing as yall argued over ftl and fal stuff before, just go with the stars gravity stops ftl. Just w/e ya know? At least it will solve the ultra lame insta jump from anywhere to anywhere. Makes things too complicated and epic OP. I'd ban teleporters in space too. 

Keep stuff as simple to remove idiocy from occurring. Fix problem, ya know?
