Coach had assigned Isabella 10 more laps around the gym because of her mouthing off; which wasn't that rare of an occurrence. It would have been easier to kick Isa off the team all together, but she was a good player, and their varsity team was dwindling in numbers as it was. Kids were more into partying and drugs than team sports and 10 year old used jerseys. Taking one lap, she waited until the coach was long gone out of the room before she slowed down "Two..three, seven, ten." Isabella counted quickly, now at a stand still, her hands on her hips. Her other task was to take down the nets and collect the strewn volleyballs that laid around the open gym. Sighing, Isa jogged over to the net. The faster she could get this done, the faster she could go home. She quickly untied the net, and folded it, placing it on the bottom of the ball carrier basket. Next was the poles. Wrapping her slender arms around the first pole she hoisted it up out of the hole in the gym's floor and let it tilt down to horizontal so she could carry it more easy into the storage room on the side door of the gym. The same sequence was repeated for the other pole, though admittedly a bit slower than the first one. Coming back into the open gym Isa noticed she wasn't alone anymore. She forgot that 10 minutes after practice was open gym time for all the students and faculty alike. The boy was playing basketball, dashing around and letting it slip right into the basket with a satisfying swish. "He sure has a lot of energy." Isabella commented sarcastically as she slowly began wrangling up the volleyballs that were left by the team. It was almost like they took out more than necessary just to spite her. Throwing the balls towards the bucket they were stored in, several went in compared to the few that hit the corner and flew into opposite directions. Besides her height, it was obvious basketball wasn't her forte. The last ball hit the corner with much more velocity than Isabella expected as it zoomed right into one of Solomon's shots knocking the ball away from basket, sending their balls flying. Isabella's face froze as she called out "Sorry!" with a wave of the hand. "Don't worry, I got it!" she called, running after the basketball and then the volleyball. She held them both on her hips, before tossing the basketball towards him with a huff. This was enough exercise to last the weekend, or the rest of the year. Placing the ball into the cart softly, Isabella then pushed the cart with both hands into the storage room before exiting and shutting the door behind her. Finally she could retreat to the locker room and change into her street clothes and go home; or so she thought. Taking off her sweats, she jammed them into her gym locker- not wanting to take them home and wash them just yet. Something about getting changed in an empty locker room was eerie, so Isabella didn't take too much hesitation to re-dress. Adoring herself with a pair of black pegged jeans, a red sleeved baseball style shirt, and her ankle high black boots. Afterwards she took out her backpack and jacket. Reaching into the pocket of her leather jacket she took out her always worn apple core necklace and her hair bandanna. Her head titled down slowly as she tied the red bandanna in her hair into a small bow slightly angled on the right side of her head. She had been wearing red lipstick that day at school, but the color was faded drastically from the wear and tear of the day. Having to go through the gym once more, Isabella threw the leather jacket over her shoulder and her basic backpack over the other.
