Character Name: Sharee-Mar (Stalks-in-Shadows) Race: Argonian Gender: Female Age: 28 Birthsign: The Shadow Appearance:[url= http://www.deviantart.com/art/Argonian-face-scanned-version-369585601] (She has light green scales and red feathers. She has heterochromatia, with her left eye being red, and her right one orange.) Equipment: Two long curved steel daggers, a cutlass, and a crossbow. Wears a sleeveless chainmail vest and leather pants. Has her own alchemy set and an array of potions. Skills: One-handed (specifically blades) - Trained from birth to be a killer, Sharee is exceptionally skilled with one handed blades, specifically with a sword and a dagger in the off-hand Alchemy- Sharee grew talented with poisonmaking during her time as a Shadowscale and has since grown her alchemical knowledge considerably. She is rather creative with her potions and has a certain intuitive sense for determining the effects of ingredients. Unarmed- As an assassin, Sharee was trained to deal with any circumstance, even if her only weapon is her own body. While she is not a master, she is very capable of fighting unarmed. Stealth skills- The ability to remain unseen is perhaps the most important for any assassin, so Sharee is of course capable of sneaking, lockpicking, and so on. Acrobatics- Sharee is nimble in combat and capable of climbing to places out of reach for the average person. Archery- Her archery skills are average at best. She is capable of hitting stationary or slow moving targets with relative ease, as many archers are, but moving targets are likely to evade her. Personality: Since the Dark Brotherhood has been all but eradicated, Sharee has become unpredictable. She is prone to periods of extreme anger and struggles with both depression and alcoholism. At other times, she is lively, exciting, and perhaps even enjoyable to be around. She has no sense of morality and has almost no empathy for others, instead living simply to satisfy her own pleasures. She is terrible at managing gold and will almost always waste it away on alcohol or other forms of instant gratification, as she is always confident in her ability to find more work. There essentially nothing she would not do in order to complete a job. Background: Sharee-Mar was born somewhere in Black Marsh under the sign of the Shadow, and as such was given over to the Dark Brotherhood for training as a Shadowscale. Training for the hatchlings began as soon as they were capable of understanding speech, begin the long process of forging them into killing machines. The training regimen was intense and brutal, and many of the initiates did not survive. They practiced for most of the day, or for days at a time depending on the nature of the lessons being taught. They conditioned their bodies for strength, endurance, and speed, they endured physical and mental torture to build their resolve, and they were forced to survive together to build their bonds to both each other, and the family overall. By the time Sharee was eleven, she had made her first kill. At age 15, Sharee had completed the mandatory Shadowscale training and was expected to grow her own skills independently from that point forward. Unfortunately, her time as a full-fledged Shadowscale was short-lived, for that was the year that the Dark Brotherhood all but collapsed. Without a listener, the Dark Brotherhood bad been having struggling for years and, due to lack of resources and a few other factors, they were forced to close the Shadowscale training facility in Archon. Sharee joined up with another sanctuary for a while, but after a few years it fell apart and, in the end, Sharee was left alone, separated from the only family she had ever known. Sharee immediately fell into a depression. She moved to the nearest city, Gideon, and started drinking away all the coin she had earned over the years. She quickly became an alcoholic and started to waste away every bit of gold she had trying to satisfy her every pleasure in an attempt to distract herself from the pain she was experiencing. Once her reserves of coin started to run dry, she hired herself out as a mercenary to make a living, and ended up being the most skilled blade-for-hire in the region. Thanks to her training, she had the tools necessary to grow her own skills herself. She had always had an affinity for alchemy and had a natural talent for determining the effects of ingredients and finding the most efficient ways to combine them. What money she didn’t spend on alcohol or skooma she put into buying books to help build her alchemical skills. Her fighting skills naturally grew with every job she took, and due to her background as a Shadowscale, she also started accepting freelance contracts for assassinations. She once again became financially successful, but despite this, she still felt like all meaning had been stripped from her life. After a few years of taking jobs in Black Marsh, Sharee, who had moved to Lilmoth, was hired by the East Empire company to help protect one of their ships, which had been attacked by pirates on its way from Morrowind. She set off with the fleet toward the port city of Anvil, and just as the company feared, they were indeed attacked. Sharee played a large role in fighting them off, so once they reached Cyrodiil, she was well-recommended by the company. She ended up staying in Anvil, taking jobs from the sailors there. For a few years, she went back and forth taking contracts from both the East Empire company and private contractors. She ended up traveling all across Tamriel’s coastline, gaining considerable experience with sailing in the process. Mostly, she based herself out of the Cyrodilic port cities of Anvil and Leyawiin, as she preferred the warm air of the south and disliked staying in the Dominion for too long. Her reputation in the area grew considerably, so she became able to pick and choose whatever contracts suited her best. Currently, she is in Leyawiin, living off of the funds from her last contract until she finds herself needing to take on another job.
