Casper turned to the girl when he heard her trying to talk to him again. "What? Too cool to talk to someone like me? Or is it that you can't talk?" He blinked and stared at her for a second. No one has told him anything like that before, asking if he was too cool to talk to them. He frowned and dropped the cigarette beside him, but he was really calm. Her words didn't actually annoy him. In fact, he found it funny, and deep inside, maybe a little flattered that she wanted him to say something. He chuckled a little, and faced down to hide it. Then he glanced back up at her. "If you wanted to hear my voice, all you had to do was ask," he responded to her. It was a joke, though he had a serious tone. But on his face, there was the smallest hint of an amused smile that he found hard to conceal. He raised a single eyebrow at her and watched her carefully. "You expect everyone to notice you, huh?"
