Roe gasped, the salt water burning her throat, eyes and lungs alike. She blinked rapidly, her finger tips rubbing at her eyes trying to rid it of the sharp pain they were enduring. She had barely energy to sit up, but she did- slowly and steadily. What had happened? Her memory ran blank besides the sound of something Roe had never heard before. As her vision came to, she panned across the beach. [i]"Hello!?[/i] she exclaimed, her voice raspy as she coughed, she couldn't see any trace of her crew besides the wreckage of ship scattered in the water and on the beach. Gathering enough strength Roe got onto her knees and hoisted herself up on to her legs. She felt like a newborn deer, stumbling over her own slender legs. She began walking slowly along the shoreline looking for the rest of the group.
