He's talking about people who've had their CS accepted, and at the time being, I can't accept yours.

First off, your character comes off as sueish for being able to learn magic without any training.
Second: Talk of scolarships/universities/education doesn't work at all in the setting (The first University was established in 1080 AD, and it wasn't in the British Isles)
Third, and this is a minor thing, but Ignis isn't located in England. It's in Scotland.
Fourth: Scribes wouldn't have any tournaments like what you mentioned due to the inherent secrecy of things.

So yeah. Your character needs a lot of cleaning to be accepted.
