Rafaella's head jerked up. She noticed that she had been sleeping with her right cheek against the open pages of her note pad, probably because she slept late the night before watching anime on her phone. "It's getting late," she thought, looking at the clock on the wall of one side of the library. Going to the library after school was normal for her. She would either sleep, read, or write things in her note pad there. The librarian is also familiar with this, which is why she left the key to the library with Rafaella after her shift was done. Raf took out the key from the right pocket of her jeans before standing up. She grabbed her things that were on the table and stuffed them in her ransel backpack, not caring if they ended up messy in there, then she slung the bag over her left shoulder. She glanced out the window at her left and noticed that it was snowing really hard. "I knew it. Never trust the weather forecasts,"she thought, putting on her hoodie. Looking around the library, she sighed, seeing that she was the only one there. Not that it wasn't normal, though. She always hoped someone would be there, that she wasn't alone, but alas, it was always false hope. Too bad for her. She then proceeded towards the door leading out the library. After locking the door behind her, she put the key in her pocket again, then walked through the silent, empty hallways, turning corners every so often. She wondered if there were even any other people there besides her. She was about to turn the last corner and she would be seeing the exit, but stopped in her tracks when she heard voices from the direction she was heading for. "Question answered, Raf. Sucks to be me," she thought as she listened to the conversation. "He's right though, the snow is too high to push away, we're all stuck!,"she heard someone say. "Great. VERY great,"Raf thought. Seeing as she had no other choice, she turned that corner, gaining the attention of the unknown people, and walked towards them.
