For most of the first three episodes I was like "Yeah, this is pretty interesting. Not mind-blowing but worth watching."And then I made it to the last 15 minutes or so of episode 3 and I spent all of those 15 minutes either screaming at the screen or staring with my jaw hanging open. It got really really good really really quickly.Unfortunately it might be a little while till I can watch more cuz I have Netflix hard-copy rentals and I wanted to snag the Doctor Who 20th anniversary special while it's briefly available...Edit: At least now I understand why Henry keeps fangirling over Benedict Cumberbatch's cheekbones because holy jeez how do those even happen.
It took me several episodes before I started to really like shows such as Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Doctor Who. I guess it has to do with the fact that series start off slow to describe the plot, characters, environment etc? But yea, season 1's ending was pretty awesome. :P Though it's the polar opposite from Doctor Who in that Sherlock is an insanely short series, only 3 episodes per season and 3 seasons. So it shouldn't take too long to catch up in it. But then again, each episode is over an hour long. Hardcover Netflix though? That's still a thing? O_O I thought they just went completely digital a long time ago.
