Wayne nodded and hastily glanced again at the map, looking along their road for anything really that was important enough to have doors, but wasn't near enough to anyone to be instantly swarmed by everyone and their dog with half a mind to seek shelter.

"A bit up Highway 9 there's a secluded luxury mountain-resort in Pike's Peek National Forest" He said, pointing at the spot on the map. "A fair bit south of the ghost-town tourist-trap of Alma, we can try sending people there to see how the world is doing without much fear of being swarmed. With luck they stocked the place early for the winter-season."
