Disregard my prior post. I'm not getting in to discussion on particle theory and quantum bubbles etc. 

I'll simply handwaive any asshattery of the sort. Plus the ftl jammer would end that discussion.

Edit, the whole thing arises from a theoretical ftl as a alcubieer drive. It has some basis but there's alot of wrong with it too. But anyway.
