I figured I might as well make an updated version instead of bumping up my old one. So, hello there! Feel free to call me Crimson (or Kay). I'm currently in my 20s, and have nothing else to do while I wait to get back into college. For now I'll have lots of time to roleplay, so I was hoping to get some new ones going! If it makes a difference, I've been roleplaying for 9-10 years now, and I'd say that I'm fairly literate.
Figured I'd put this under a hider to spare you a chunk of text. I don't have too many rules, and I'm not a stickler when it comes to all of them. All I ask is that you: - Are at least 18 and feel comfortable with mature content. I personally like getting dark and violent, and I'm completely fine with sex and all that. - Can give me at least a paragraph in reply. I can go from that to 6 or 7 per post, but I'm really fine with whatever as long as it moves things along and gives me something to work with. - Are patient! I have an awful memory and often have to deal with writer's block. I will try my hardest to get you a reply every day or so, but sometimes it will take me longer. If it takes me more than three, feel free to send me a PM and ask what's up. - Are relatively literate. I don't mind typos and misspellings here and there, but I really hate having to spend minutes trying to decipher a sentence. - Don't mind playing the male. I'm used to playing females, and I usually prefer taking the more submissive role in a pairing. I'm up for doubling if necessary, though. - Are alright with roleplaying via PM. I just never really enjoyed using threads, but I suppose I can make some exceptions if I have to.
Key: Anything with an asterisk* beside it is something I'm craving, and anything with more than one is something I'm really looking for. The role I'd like to play will be in parentheses, and anything with a plot will have it included in the hider. Medieval Fantasy: Demon Warrior x (Cleric) Highwayman x (Female carriage guard)* Knight x (Disguised female knight) (Mage) x Hunter* Royal/Knight x (Court Mage)* Assassins Low fantasy/non-fantasy in a fictional world
A clan of demons and elves have been feuding for generations, and it only seemed to get worse as time wore on. The issue at hand is a source of power. The elves currently have it, but the demons need it to flourish. That obviously leads to quite a bit of violence between the two. When a demon who would rather see the fighting end discovers a wounded elf stranded in their territory, he decides to help aid in her recovery even if it puts both of them at risk.

Scattered across the land, there are a few remote schools where people are free to learn and practice magic. They're only set away from the rest of society because magic is indeed a dangerous thing. One school has begun dabbling in forbidden magics, and because of that they unleashed a dark force into the world. They would take no part in banishing this being, however, so it's up to the remaining mages to defeat it and restore peace. Of course, the being isn't all they'll be facing.
Modern/Fantasy: Supernatural Apocalypse Shut-in x New Neighbor Contemporary Fantasy* Superhumans vs. Government Superhuman Academy Freakshow/Superhuman Circus
It has been ages since the masses worshipped the gods properly, although some pantheons did suffer the fate more than others. The lack of interaction caused bitterness and hostility in some of the gods, although very few thought of doing anything about it. One of those who did was sent to the human world with only a fraction of his power, tasked with learning to love humanity once more. That is easier said than done, of course. Lacking the proper knowledge of human ways and how to function in the mortal world, the god works to "befriend" the first human he deems tolerable.

In the eternal war between darkness and light, there are precious few instances of either side showing compassion to the other. Of course, that is all thanks to their inability to set aside the hate they harbor for their enemy. Somehow, it still manages to happen. When a benevolent angel happens upon a wounded demon in an area deemed neutral ground, she treats his injuries regardless of who or what he is. This opens the door to an unusual - and potentially tragic - relationship between the two.

Unlike the majority of his kind, this incubus takes physical form during the day. He likes to pick his targets after some interaction and observation. He decides to enroll in college for a laugh and an easier time finding sources of nutrition, but also finds something he did not expect. He feels strangely drawn to a young woman in one of his classes, but can't explain why. She also finds him interesting, more for the mysterious vibe he gives off than his looks. After they start talking and get to know one another a little better, he finds himself returning to her slumbering mind time and time again to feed. However, he's also around to witness just what that's been doing to her. Will he ever tell her his feelings, or that he's the one who has been making near-nightly visits for the last month? And what will they do when someone (or something) shows up that's a serious danger to the both of them?

A powerful family of vampires has settled into the city, effectively breaking the uneasy truce between the humans and the vampires by violating the basic laws - don't kill when feeding, and don't turn humans indiscriminately. This causes a different group of vampires to band with a slayer organization in order to get the problem under control. One of these vampires takes a relatively inexperienced slayer under his wing when it's plain that she needs help with more than just her training.

Channeling the dead relatives of people she didn't know was starting to get very old. So, a young medium decides to flex her abilities and summon a spirit. In her excitement, she makes a horrible mistake. Instead of calling forth a benevolent being, she accidentally opens a portal for demons to slip through. Before she can close it, at least one demon gets free. He decides that he likes what he sees and sticks around. If having a clingy demon around wasn't bad enough, they soon realize that something bigger and badder managed to get through too. After a harrowing run-in with the being, they realize it could mean trouble for the both of them.
Well, that's about it! Feel free to send me a PM if you're interested~ I don't often check the threads.
