Jesse Deveraux Voodoo18Male – Voodoo is extremely agile and uses various somersaults and tumbling to avoid offensive attacks. He has also incorporated his gymnastic skill into close-quarter combat. – Voodoo is currently learning and mastering espionage at the academy, the skill to infiltrate and gather information using disguises and stealth. – Injury Transference (or Empathic Masochism) is the ability to direct pain and physical damage to another by inflicting the injury on to oneself. It is also referred to as the 'Human Voodoo Doll' power. The user does not retain any of the injuries they do unto themselves which spawns a minor regenerative factor. This ability can only be used on one person at a time. Injury Transference is a conscious ability, meaning if it is not consciously activated it does not work. (Will gain this power later)Voodoo can come across as very cunning, intelligent, and manipulative. He gets what he wants most of the time. He has a tendency of being that playful mischievous type that does things good or bad to make himself feel better. Although when he’s by himself, he is a very quiet individual. Most of his personality conflicts with each other. He tries to hold his tongue, but ends up saying what he thinks and it usually isn’t in a nice way. With that said, Voodoo does not think of himself of being bad or a villain. He just does what he feels is right. Voodoo also has a tendency of making crude jokes and having a dark sense of humor.Voodoo grew up in the foster care system in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was bounced around from home to home, but none were willing to keep him. It was for the simple face he made his foster parent’s life a living hell. He would break all of their rules, sneak out of the house to drink, have sex, and other juvenile things. During his early teens is when he discovered his abilities and used it on his foster mother because she wouldn’t let him go out. From then on, he couldn’t keep a steady home. Although he was quite the troublemaker, he was a prodigy in math and making excellent scores in school.Voodoo worked in a fast-food restaurant before he enrolled in the H.I.V.E. academy. During a shift at work, Voodoo was confronted by an irate customer, who insisted that he did not give him the proper amount of food. Voodoo, being gifted in math, firmly told the customer that his true intention was to get extra food for free and that he would not tolerate it. Angered, the customer insulted him and cussed him out. He retaliated by dipping his arm into boiling oil and transferred the resulting pain and physical damage to the customer's arm. Despite no evidence to incriminate Voodoo, he was let go from his job. It was at this time that H.I.V.E. found Voodoo and took him in.H.I.V.E. Five :D
Okay two questions concerning his powers. 1. How far does the injury transferring extended. Like if he shoots himself in the head does it kill someone else? Also does it mean if someone else hurts him he can transfer that injury to someone else, ergo making him invulnerable. 2. I am touchy, as I believe everyone is, when it comes to mind control in RPs as it opens up the whole problem of controlling other people's characters
