"Ah, well, at my peak abilities, I do the opposite of Chase: I create new concepts or switch existing ones around." Meruin sat next to Liz. "Don't feel that way. All magics lead to the same source ultimately," said Meruin, parroting what Reina had taught her. "Water magic at its highest form is formidable enough to pose a threat to Lady Chase. Even if she managed to beat Great Queen Undine and Lord Poseidon, it was still a close battle in which either side would have lost." Chase stared at James hard, as if hoping he would change his mind.
