Looking out the window over the snow cover streets and buildings of the city outside stood Count Helcrest. He held a large goblet of dust wine as he watched the actives going on below him. 'Ahh, tribute day i enjoy this time of year,' he thought to himself as he watch the representatives of the minor faction in there region pay there dues to the Broken Lords. "My lord, we have found an endless artifact," a Stalwart captain reported to to him. "Bring it in," the count said turning around to the Stalwart. The doors to the chamber was open and a squad of five Stalwards walked in carrying a large metal chest. Count Helcrest set down his dust wine an approach the chest. Opening it he pulled out a 2x2x2 metal cub, each of the sides had an interesting carving on the sides. "This is a marvelous find Endless relics are hard to come by," he said to the captain. As he was fiddling with the it started to glow before he could even say a word there was a bright blue flash and the count has disappeared. ====== [b][Present time, Strange entrance hall][/b] Count Helcrest awoke in the entrance hall propped up against the wall near the portrait making himself look like a suit of armor. Awaken he stumbled forward and fell onto the floor "that was unbecoming of me," he said to himself standing back up. The count looked around at the people in the room with him.
