Nawlin stood still as the squad gunner, Naida, used Prowlers leg to cover Aiden's extraction. Moving quickly in tight corridors would likely lead to someone getting a concussion...or worse. When they got into the main cavern he could move more freely. Mike stopped worrying as soon as Esailia started tearing into Aiden about being an idiot and looked to Nathaniel as he motioned to prowler. "You got heat vision, big guy?" He asked, pulling a cylinder from his vest, the black casing identifying it as a flash bang. "Because I think negotiations are about to get aggressive. Naida, I'm going to throw this, The moment it clears the barricade, you blow the barricade with your RPG. Bud, when the barricade is in bits, get in there and start taking them down. Leave one or two alive, we need to have a chat with them to see if the hostages are still in the mine." Mike said as he switched to thermal cams. It was then Esailia cut off and began coughing, at first he chalked it up to dust, but as it continued and grew more wet, he grew concerned. A gas attack could take out the team, him included depending on the type, but only Esailia was affected. A quick look at the ground crew told him this wasn't normal, but their quick attempts to cover up their concern and covertly enlist Aiden's aid told him it was not the first time. Deciding stealth was best, he aimed Prowlers impassive face at Aiden as well. Low thuds carried trough the mine, followed by a single gunshot. mike waited a moment, before standing and checking around the corner. A dingy white flag rose from what amounted to battlements, and some of the barricade began to shift as the mercs moved chunks out of the way. mike muttered, prowler moving into the cavern slowly, heat cameras checking for targets. Prowler's pistol was drawn, but pointed down, he would honor the "surrender" he supposed, but not blindly. "Please, don't shoot!" said a heavily Northern-accented voice. "We surrender! Please, don't shoot, we're opening the barricade and coming out!" Prowler stood impassively, he couldn't see any lingering shapes and he could see any weapons that could deal serious damage to him, but a bullet could down the ground crew. As Esailia was still incapacitated, he keyed Nathanial on Coms. he asked, as a black fox emerged, and spilled his guts about the soldiers. when he finished he motioned for Esailia's crew to wait. Still staring at the mercs, mike pointed at them. "Before we do anything, I want you to know this. If any of this is a trick, and anyone on our side gets hurt from something you don't tell us, it will end badly." mike growled. " I will personally find you, and the dullest boulder I can, then proceed grind all of you like oranges on a juicer. Understood?" With that he motioned to the ground crew to take over talks, as he kept an eye on the uncertain mercs.
