Jayke walked through the city. Alone. As he always is. There was nothing else to do. He hated being home. Huh, can he even call it home? It wasn't really a walk. He sort of dragged himself through the streets. He was heading to a building. He had received an invitation earlier that day. Of course, he could always shape shift into, say, a bird and just fly there. But that took too much energy and he felt rather like a tit when he flapped his wings. He looked at the invitation for the address. He was in the right place. He looked around and to his surprise, the building actually existed. He hasn't gotten his hopes high though, some people will go out of their way to prank you. He walked towards the building where he was shoulder barged by someone. "Hey watch it!" He said with a raised, aggravated voice. The boy turned around. He looked not much older than him. "Sorry," he said. "I have to get somewhere. I got this invitation to go to some place for a meet" [I]Tell me your life story why don't you.[/I] Then it hit him. "Wait, a hero meet?" Stupid question... If it wasn't, he was going to sound like an idiot. "Yeah" He replied. His face seemed to light up a bit. "Cool, me too. I'm Jayke" "Josh. Nice to meet you man." They shook hands and walked into the building together. Looked around and found a staircase. They looked at each other and shrugged as they wondered down the faintly light and dusty passageway where they heard voices and saw other people. "Um, hi" Said Jayke shyly
