Ruby was perched on a small ledge, prowling across low rooftops, looking for something she could do. For the past few days, she had been living off of donations of one of the few people who knew her, her only friend, Rachael. Well, that was partially a lie. Rachael wasn't a friend, more of Ruby's owner, as she had 'adopted' Ruby when she was in her cat form. Rachael did not know about Ruby's half-cat form, just believing her to be a normal cat, as every day Ruby went outside for either a few hours or the entire day. As she prowled around the rooftops in her half-cat form, she took note that a fair few individuals seemed to be entering a building that was inconspicuous. As she had nothing else to do, she decided she would just invade the house with her presence. Turning into her cat form, the black fur forming on her body, her body shrinking down to cat-size. She then made her way down from the roof, trotting her way over to the house, the bell on her collar jingling beside a tag with her name Ruby on it as well as a phone number, Rachael's phone number. Once she reached the door of the building, she jumped through an open building, slipping in. She followed the sound of footsteps to a staircase leading underground. Seeing as there was nothing else to do inside of the building -it appeared to be quite empty- the curious cat made her way down. What she found seemed to be strange. Why would the building have barely anything upstairs, but have a basement with rooms? Ruby thought to herself, trotting silently through the hallway, her bell echoing as she went. Peering into one of the rooms, it seemed to be a meeting room of some sort, and was already occupied by a few people. Her bell jingles as she moves into the room and slides under a sofa, her head now peering out from under the sofa as she listens to and watches what is going on, her bell jingling gently as she moves a little.
