Uhh... Bee...
If any of them tried to pull the sword from the ground, they'd quickly find out what that something was; the sword would not budge no matter how hard they tugged at it, at which point Link would say, "The sword has to choose you in order for you to be able to wield it."
If you tried to take it, it wouldn't budge.
If they thought better of trying to take the sword, Link would pull it back out and say nothing before heading towards the village to the east.
If you didn't, Link would continue. ---------- Link is the Hero chosen by the Goddesses, and the Master Sword recognized him as the Hero of Time. It woudln't just up and change its mind, no matter how much knowledge you might have of the games. I've played all of them too, and it's been stated several times that only the Hero chosen by the Master Sword can wield it. In Ocarina, Link was stated as being worthy, since he pulled the Sword out of the Pedestal of Time. HOwever, he was too young to be the Hero, and thus was sealed away for seven years. Since we're in the future portion of the game, then he's been chosen by the Master Sword, and is now ready to assume his role as the Hero of Time. ---------- Zero, I'll direct you to my first argument. Link's the Hero chosen by the Goddesses, not Bee. And besides, y'all were gonna just go try to take on Ganondorf, which can't be done anyway. You need to rescue the Sages and use their power, which is something only the chosen Hero of Time can do.
