Name: Fioravante Zirnitra Gwydion de Bloyse Rasputin von Elsimore, or Ras for short Age: 25 Appearance: A short, somewhat overweight young man, about 5 feet 6, with messy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes which are generally covered by thick round spectacles. Always seen dressed in expensive black dress shoes, black slacks, white shirts and black vests. He also wears an expensive platinum watch, a gold cross necklace, a silver ring and always smells heavily of cologne. Despite his attire being obviously expensive and of a high quality he still seems perpetually scruffy and moderately off-putting. Bio: Fioravante Zirnitra Gwydion de Bloyse Rasputin von Elsimore, or Ras for short, is the firstborn scion of what are technically three distinguished magi bloodlines: the de Bloyses, the Rasputins and the von Elsimores, the latter two having combined into the Rasputin von Elsimore family rather recently. As such, there were great expectations surrounding Fioravante’s birth and it was said that he would be a prodigy with spectacular natural talent. Well, the Mage’s Association wasn’t really wrong, not quite. Fioravante was indeed born with a high number of high quality magic circuits and high amounts of prana, to the point where his body might be considered one in a million. For a time, the young child was hailed as the greatest promise of the coming age. Unfortunately for the families and the Mage’s Association, their hopes were swiftly dashed. Fioravante, who preferred to be called Ras, grew up uninterested in the practice of magecraft in general and his elemental affinity was proven to be fire and fire alone, regarded as the most common of elements. For someone with the potential to master any form of magecraft if they actually tried, Ras did the bare minimum to get by and pass a few tests from the Mage’s Association in order to ensure he was granted a portion of his family's’ fortune when he turned 21, after which he quickly dropped out of the association in order to live a mundane life of luxury. Skills and Abilities: -Family fortune: Has obscene amounts of money at his disposal. His watch, necklace and ring bear secret family sigils of the de Bloyse, Rasputin and von Elsimore families and thus showing any one of them accompanied by the appropriate secret password passed down those family lines for generations can net him the extensive support of any of those families and their sworn supporters. -The real world: Ras much prefers living outside the world of Magi and as such has a far better grasp of the modern world than many of them. Magic: Detonation A fairly simple and one-dimensional magecraft in application that is nonetheless remarkably potent and energy-efficient, enough that it earned Ras his inheritance. By engraving an intricate, three-level magic circle into a small object, Ras prefers nickels or any similar coin or medal, they are modified into a very basic mystic code that can then accept prana far better than an ordinary object. The magus can then cause them to detonate into an explosion of pure magical energy on mental command. It is a powerful offensive magecraft, a single nickel being enough to obliterate a regular human with no magical defenses, and if well employed it can be used to hold off, if not really damage, some servants. While it was hailed as proof of his talents, Ras simply mixed and matched discarded designs that could already be found in ancient records kept by his ancestors from all three lines, making this far less noteworthy. Anyone with access to the same records and some knowhow could’ve done it, really. Other: He wants nothing to do with the Mage’s Association or the Grail War, and is essentially going to be pulled into it completely unwillingly, perhaps by his father as a misguided attempt to force him to live up to his potential. He has no real wish to make, as he was already living peacefully and comfortably doing what he liked. Command Seal: (might put one up later)
