Markdown just came with this nice editor + parser combo I found that saved me a lot of time.

The Guild will land at some Markdown/BBCode hybrid kinda like what QQCode was becoming. The guys that built <https://meta.discourse.org/> maintain a Javascript parser for what's pretty much QQCode 2.0 that I want to shift to.
