Name: Suwako Moriya Age: Roughly 2300, but appears to be ~12 Gender: Female Appearance: [Kero](http://en.touhouwiki.net/images/2/2c/Th123Suwako.png) Canon, AU, or OC?: Canon Universe of Origin: Touhou Project Personality: Seen as a mostly carefree individual, Suwako also has a competitive drive that doesn't seem to want to go away sometimes. Luckily, that competitive drive doesn't affect how she acts after a loss; she'll accept defeat graciously after a fair duel. Her millennia of experience in combat and in warfare have also taught her how to be cunning, though she's less likely to care about political affairs because of all the time she's devoted to that in the past. Abilities/Weapons: Suwako has the ability to 'create' earth and the aspects thereof. Unlike similar abilities presented in other media, Suwako's ability allows her to form plants from the earth and manipulate water to a degree as well as create rocks for use in... Whatever it is she's doing. Suwako also has various spellcards, most of which can be seen [here.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTIeyZ4jfCg) She also maintains the ability to channel the Mishaguji and summon them when necessary. Suwako can also summon iron rings to use as projectiles during combat, though it does take her some time to generate them consecutively. Because she's a deity, Suwako can't die as most mortals can; however, that does not mean she isn't susceptible to injury and fatigue like most. Backstory: During ancient times, Suwako was a deity who controlled the Mishaguji, curse gods who had gained faith (aka belief in existence) by cursing things such as harvests and militaries. Eventually, other gods from across Yamato (ancient Japan) banded together to try and unite the country. Suwako refused to simply bow down and instead took up arms to fight. However, Kanako (another goddess) brought out a vine and instantly rusted Suwako's arsenal. Seeing the vast difference in power, Suwako graciously accepted defeat. ... Of course, that was millennia ago. Residing at Kanako's shrine at Mount Suwa (and later Gensokyo when Kanako decided to move), Suwako has since been relaxing at the Moriya Shrine as a deity nobody is really aware of. After her defeat at the hands of Reimu and Marisa after Kanako spontaneously relocated to Gensokyo, Suwako has since been spending her time interacting with Gensokyo's native inhabitants. When a strange fissure was discovered near the Moriya Shrine, she, along with Kanako and Sanae (the shrine maiden of the shrine) discussed what to do about it... Which ended up devolving into a rock-paper-scissors match between her and Sanae over who should check it out. Suwako won in the end, and thus dove in, at which point she found herself in the Multiverse. Faction: N/A --------------- Name: Dio Brando Age: Around 150, but appears to be eternally in his early 20s. Gender: Male Appearance: [WRYYYYYYY](http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20121205192744/jjba/images/9/9c/Dio_ASB.jpg) Canon, AU, or OC?: AU Universe of Origin: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Personality: Dio is known for being a manipulative and incredibly cunning megalomaniac, enough so to gather up Stand users from across the world to work for him against Jotaro and his group as they crossed the world to reach him in Egypt. Rather than the rash and violent persona he displayed while he was still human, Dio prefers to try and bring others to his side and work under him than go into an actual fight. However, those who are deemed loyal enough by him are also returned with his trust, as seen by his interactions with Enrico Pucci before the events of Part 3. He's also incredibly intelligent, which stems from his love of reading back from when he was human. Abilities/Weapons: After becoming a vampire, Dio gained strength that was unequivocally superhuman and increased the capabilities of his senses. Unlike other conventional vampires, Dio sucks blood from his victims via tentacles in his fingers; as his life force is sustained by blood, draining that of others allows him to regenerate at an immense rate. Being a vampire came at a cost, though; Dio has a glaring weakness to the sun and any attacks related thereof (such as the Hamon). After his escape, Dio lost the ability to produce any spores (such as the ones he used to control Kakyoin and Polnareff early in Part 3) and the power of his Stand, ['The World'](http://jojo.wikia.com/wiki/The_World), was greatly weakened. Instead of being able to stop time for ~11 seconds as he was able to during the end of Part 3, it is instead lowered to roughly 1-2 seconds in a roughly 10m radius at most and is now only able to freeze nonsentient objects (such as knives and bullets). He is also unable to use the ability consecutively within the span of 3 minutes, during which his Stand's speed and strength drop (using the stat chart given to Stands as a reference, they go from A to C). However, while this restriction is not active 'The World' is able to attack using a barrage of punches with incredible force. His range has been lowered from A to D, as Dio can no longer easily sustain the strength necessary to send out his Stand much more than 10 meters now. The area on his forehead where Jotaro had managed to injure him also remains as a critical chink in his armor, which continues to aggravate him to no end. Though it looks to have recovered at a glance, his skull has regenerated as a thinner bone than it used to be. His brain has made a successful recovery to its original status before Jotaro's attack. As with all Stands, any damage done to 'The World' is also applied to Dio. However, due to the effects of the Multiverse (or something or another), all people (not just Stand users) are able to see 'The World' while it is active. Furthermore, usage of his Stand, as well as merely existing as a vampire, forces Dio to replenish his blood supply to sustain himself much more often than he used to. Backstory: Dio's story is a tad long, so I'll leave [this](http://jojo.wikia.com/wiki/Dio_Brando/History) link for anything prior. The stuff after here takes place near the end of Stardust Crusaders. Able to escape following his encounter with Jotaro Kujo, Dio found himself in a disadvantageous situation in the sewers underneath Cairo. Being chased down by Jotaro with nobody to regenerate off of, Dio could only struggle to move with half his head caved in. It was then that he was met by agents of Shadow Eternity. They offered him a chance to recover; a chance to prepare more powerful allies to defeat the Joestars with. Though he was internally incredibly livid at having to work under someone, in his current state he was in no position to argue and accepted the deal before being brought to the Multiverse. (As a result of this travel, the events that happen to Nijimura's father in part 4 do not occur and Holly Kujo does end up dying, as well as the events at the end of Part 6 and everything afterwards. The events of Part 6 (with Pucci's plans) do not occur.) Faction: Shadow Eternity -------- Name: Gintoki Sakata Age: ~20 Gender: Male Appearance: [Link](http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/gintama/images/e/e8/Gin_Gintoki.png/revision/latest?cb=20140205032251) Canon, AU, or OC?: Canon Universe of Origin: Gintama Personality: Gintoki is a bit of a comedic character, oftentimes intentionally misinterpreting statements or questions for amusement. He's also incredibly lazy and a bit of a coward at times, though this is mostly during less serious events. Under this usual facade, however, is a person who was deeply hurt at his inability to protect his allies and friends during the Joui War. Though he has made a vow not to kill anymore, Gintoki, while under extreme emotional turmoil, won't hesitate to break that promise. He's also a dedicated worker when it comes down to it. When it comes to protecting people, Gintoki won't hesitate to jump to the aid of someone, be it a well-known friend or a person he's only just met. He also loves sweet foods and meat. Take that as you will. Abilities/Weapons: A highly skilled samurai who became famous due to his actions during the Joui War, Gintoki opts to use a wooden bokutou which was 'made from a ten thousand year old tree from another planet' with the words 'Lake Toya' engraved on the hilt. Whenever this ends up broken, he usually ends up just ordering a new one on the phone. Gintoki's swordsmanship is unorthodox and cannot be attributed to any single style, which makes fighting him even more annoying due to his ability to adapt to his opponent's abilities in the midst of combat. He also has abnormal strength and endurance, but he remains a human and, as such, is subject to fatigue in incredibly extended fights and injuries that would cripple humans in combat. Backstory: An orphan by the start of the Joui War, Gintoki was forced to scour the battlefields as a child to steal food off of dead soldiers. Eventually, he was found by his future mentor, Yoshida Shouyou, and was subsequently taught swordsmanship. When his master was captured, Gintoki (along with his fellow disciples Katsura Kotarou and Takasugi Shinsuke) joined the Joui War as combatants against the Bakufu. The war ended with failure, and Gintoki disappeared for a while. Eventually, he met Otose and formed the Old Yorozuya (which didn't take long to disband) and, subsequently, Yorozuya Gin-chan (both odd jobs companies) with Kagura and Shinpachi. After a series of events involving a deck of cards, twenty rolls of tape and a gallon of strawberry milk (don't ask), Gintoki and company found that a gate to the Multiverse had been opened inside their headquarters. Nowadays, Yorozuya Gin-chan accepts jobs from UMMA and their affiliated universes as a mercenary of sorts. Faction: UMMA
