Mari yawned. She'd been up half the night before sitting on the roof of her mom's house. It was one of her last nights there. All that was left to move to her new apartment was her heavy furniture to be moved out today by a local movie company. She sat up on her bed and folded the borrowed bedding as she got ready for work. She changed into her uniform and put her pajamas into a paper bag. '_Why am I even doing this? Is there a point. I mean, I know the basic answer is to move out, and the traditional 'spread my wings' kind of thing, but is there really a point to all of this? Living? What is life?_' she pondered as she tended to do on a daily basis. She could only keep asking herself that as she grabbed her purse and stepped out the door, hugging her mother good bye as she always did. '_The point of affections is to show that one cares. The point of caring is to show that one is satisfied with one's self enough that they can help others feel satisfied about themselves,_' she reminded herself as she began the trek by foot to the bus stop.
