Flag: ![Flag](http://i.imgur.com/ylwVlJD.png?1 "Flag of Rumania") Name: The Gran Sultanate of Imperial Rumania Classification: Grand Sultanate Government: The government is a totalitarian, borderline theocratic, State yet hardly conservative. The Sultan is the sole ruler of the nation though he keeps an elected parliament mainly as playthings for his whim. The Paramilitary organization known as The Pleasure Police are the all seeing eyes of the Sultan, their primary goal being the upholding of moral authority or lack thereof in the country. Agents will do anything it takes to make sure that the Sultan's hedonistic ways are passed to all in Rumania and even beyond. The Sultan is venerated as a living deity though no one has ever seen him outside of his vast Pleasuredome/waterpark at the heart of the capitol of Hedonopolis. His name is never uttered, and some whisper that the Sultan is simply an idea and not a man (These people are swiftly apprehended by the Pleasure Police). Veneration of The Sultan is done through a simple greeting phrase: "The Sultan is a Jolly Man" Currency: Imperial Shekel National animal: Kraken Motto: “On the backs of the weak, the great shall rule” Continent: The Balkans and parts of Asia minor Brief history: Few people in Rumania know the origins of the Grand Sultanate, and such a thing is lost to time. During its history the Sultanate has been known for expansionist and imperialistic ambitions, eventually absorbing many of its neighbor countries. The drive to expand has waned in recent decades, instead the Military are often used as glorified pirates and bandits, preying on isolated pockets of nations before making away with whatever loot they could find as is the will of The Sultan. It is also not unheard of for the Rumanian Royal Army or Navy to be loaned out to other nations as mercenaries for those willing to pay. This has kept their skills sharp over the years of (relative) peace, but has also gained them the enmity of much of the world. In place of this direct imperialism the Sultanate has strived towards moral imperialism, though many states have branded Rumanian arts and media as pornographic and vile and so the effort is often moot. Anything else you wish to add: Imperial Rumania is a degenerate hive of corruption and vice, just as The Sultan likes it. Dissent is silenced in equal measure by the gun and the amusement park, giving the people their bread and circuses so long as they are content with living in a place that, despite its ivory towers and golden statues, is the national equivalent to a truck stop toilet seat. https://www.nationstates.net/nation=imperial_rumania
