Ione felt like laughing when she heard Saoji, but she didn't. She was unable to call him foolish, since she had thought the same some time before. Imparting knowledge of times before to others through her mediumship, maybe a better understandment of men. Hm, it was odd she found someone who wasn't freaked out at all of her, but also someone that thought like her, or like she used to anyway. 

**"Many have histories like that, I know that better than anyone, perhaps. However, individuals nor groups are able to change anything. What changes things is power. With enough power, you can change things, but attaining more power than the rulers would be... problematic."** She ranted about, before she saw that Saoji was no longer interested in her talk. **"Wha!?"** Instead, he had gone to the aid of someone who had fallen down. Ione was red with embarrasment, seeing that Saoji had left just because of someone falling down... All right, that was bad and all, but that's no way to leave a lady. 

**"What do you think you are doing, you excuse of a man!"** Paige had seemingly recovered her strength and was now shouting at Saoji, also angry at him for leaving Ione like that. However, when the pair saw how the girl rejected the offer, they both started laughing. Paige's laugh went into full bursts of laughter and Ione was trying to keep it down. 

**"Serves you right, idiot playboy!"** Ione shouted at Saoji, showed him her tongue, and then dashed away from the scene, directed to the cafeteria.
