Family in New Haven: Jun Ri's father passed away when she was younger and was raised by her single mother who she was very close with. She lost contact with her mother after entering the academy.

Personality: She is very shy to a point where sometimes she is unable to speak when someone tries to speak to her but when someone she cares about is in danger, she won't hesitate to step in. She does well in her classes, never slacking off for a moment but sometimes her need to do her best becomes overwhelming.

History: Jun was single handedly raised by her single mother after her father passed away when she was just an infant. She loved her mother very much, taking up odd jobs at a young age (such as stealing) so she could help her mother with their financial situation despite the protests of her mother. 
She knew when she got accepted into Caldwell that she didn't have a choice. She didn't want to leave her mother behind but she knew she had to do it. Fortunately, her mother was very supportive. Although they were sad to be torn apart, they both knew they would see each other again. The thought of seeing her family drives her to work harder, sometimes to the point of exhaustion but there are some things in life where you don't get a choice.
