Kalinda did indeed make Tori eat the apple, but ate half of It herself in an unspoken compromise. Tori wondered if Kalinda would ever figure out that she kicked up a fuss about eating fruit and veg, just so Kalinda would eat it as well. 

Tori smiled and ran to their seats, leaping into hers and listening as Stien spoke. She rolled her eyes T the lecture not to eat human souls, and said "humans are temperamental at the best of times. I imagine their souls aren't at that enjoyable to eat anyway. Besides, if I was going to go to the dark side, it wouldn't be over a human." 

Well, maybe if something happens to Kalinda, she mused. Then what would be the point of living?

Kalinda sighed, and slapped her hand over Tori's mouth.
