Adam knew that the super villain would not surrender, most of them never did and like always he would have to show even more force take this kind of criminal. He was surprised to see that Fake Angel could create hard-light constructs in a manner similar to how made his weapons with energy. He didn't have time to really look at the exact detail of the constructs because Fallen Angel launched several of them in his direction. The moment he saw the hard-light constructs, he made his gun disappear and create two energy sabers for one in each hand. 

Adam then activated his jetboots and they propelled him out of the way of the constructs and he defended a few more thanks to his duel wielding. But suddenly there was an explosion as one of the metahumans fighting against Fake Angel created a powerful explosion which was close enough to knock him to the ground. He was very annoyed and wondered what the hero was thing to use such a dangerous attack. Adam turned his attention back on Fake Angel and he went on the attack, coming at the villain with his wielding energy weapons.
