(Sorry it took so long. ^^;; ) Finally Ceres returned, now with several locks hanging from her belt. As soon as she stepped on deck the captain ordered her to get the ship moving. Was he still sulking after his loss? "Men and their pride..." She mused to herself before replying with an "Eye-eye captain, just give me a sec to put my stuff away." And indeed it only took a few seconds for her to go into the kitchen, lock the cabinets she had her supplies in, and get up to the steering wheel. She had been aiming for the spot of captain before after all. So having the captain's permission to temporarily be one was fine by her. It sucked to have to listen to someone else's orders yet again, but this time at least she was first mate rather than just a cook. "All right ye dogs, ya heard the captain! rail in the ropes and lower those sails! Get to it, now!" Immediately Ceres started barking orders as if it came natural to her. Though it more came from her watching several other captains ordering their men around. You could learn from observation if you took the time. And a lot of time she had. To the sailors the scene must have looked ridiculous. Captain Cuttlam, the Shotgun Preacher, the terror of the western seas, gathering a crew to take it over once more. Their vice captain? ...A young woman, barely passing for an adult. But they had no choice. Their captain had put her in that position, and now their captain had told them she was in charge of departure. So they immediately got to work. This time went more smoothly than last times. As the ones that Ceres had sent into the masts to take the sails down during the storm decided to do the sails again. A few more helped, and since the other job was to get the ropes untied and rolled up, the remaining ones got to work on that. "So, where to cap'n?" Ceres asked as she waited for the crew to be done preparing. "I can make a suggestion or two, but if you have anywhere in mind..." After all, they needed a crew that could take on the Grand Line. And this crew probably wouldn't get further than the first island in there. Apart from Ace, herself and Octavius, of course.
